Making your worksheet…

Sheet code: –

Type the code printed on a sheet to get the same sheet back, with its answers.

How it works

  1. Pick a Christmas picture and the operation: addition or subtraction within 10, 20 or 100, the times tables or division facts.
  2. Press New sheet for new problems, then Print. The colored picture prints on a second page as the answer key.
  3. The child solves the problem in each square, finds the answer in the key and colors the square. The finished pictures make a fine Christmas display.

For the weeks before Christmas

In December attention is short and excitement runs high: a picture to reveal keeps children practicing without a fight. Use it as morning work, in a math center, as an Advent activity at home or for the last afternoon before winter break.

From 1st to 3rd grade

1st grade colors with addition and subtraction within 10, 1st and 2nd grade within 20 or 100, and 3rd grade practices the times tables and division facts. The whole class can color the same picture at different levels: choose another operation and press New sheet.

Questions and answers

Can the whole class have the same picture?

Can I use the pictures in class?

Yes. The pictures are our own drawings, free to print and photocopy for your class or your family.

Are there pictures for the rest of the year?

Yes. The color by number page also has a cat, a fish, an owl, a butterfly, a house, a rocket, a turtle and a flower.
